Most of our machines are guarantee vend, meaning the product must pass by a certain point on the machine for you to be charged. Since the machine knows the product didn’t pass that point, that charge should reverse or drop off.
That can take up to 48 business hours to fully complete. After 48 business hours if you’ve still been charged then a request needs filed online.
Your bank will place a HOLD on your account greater than the amount to purchase one or multiple items in a single vend transaction. This HOLD amount will be updated to reflect the actual transaction amount within 24 – 72 hours depending on the policy of your bank. Your final charge amount will be only for items vended.
Cashless Vending Refund
If your product didn’t vend, don’t worry! Our Guaranteed Vend machines should detect when a product is not dispensed and will reverse the charge on your card automatically within 48 hours. If it’s been more than 48 hours, you can request a Cashless Vending Refund here.
